I always pick the songs with the most repetative lines in them don’t I?
But this time it’s not a ‘La’ nor is it a ‘Na’, this time it’s a ‘Yat-ta’.

Yattarouze! I did not like the song the first time I heard it… oh no. I don’t really have a reason why, I just didn’t like it. I kind of glazed over Ongaku Gatas everytime they came up and the PV made me go ‘Eh?’. I mean falling through the floor while celebrating a goal? Okay. I haven’t even tried to listen to 1st Goodsal yet. This song only seriously made me go ‘repeat’ on Saturday, it’s not even on my MP3 player yet.
Recently, thanks to Milky Way and High-King, I’ve been a little more interested in the eggs. Sayaka, Yuu and Yuukarin impressed me, no two ways about it, and I find myself thinking I should really start paying some attention. I think it might be because I’m used to the more famous members of H!P, their looks, personalities and the way they sing so I’m turning to the less well known. Well… less well known by me.
Back to Yattarouze! . Kashimashi Elder Club, that’s what did it. When I watched it for the first time I was still rather passive about it and stuck with it ’cause I watching it with a friend. Plus, it came after a short MC and I have the tendency to tune out as I only understand tiny bits of what they’re saying and was still trying to fade back into attention when Yattarouze! started.

I’ve watched Kashimashi a couple of times since then and the song slowly started growing on me, but on Saturday I watched it again and was half-asleep and then it totally woke me up and I started thinking ‘This is crazy in a good, H!P type way.‘ I had my first science GCSE today, Biology, and had this flying around my head throughout the entire 45 minute paper. My arms kept twitching because I wanted to do the dance moves I knew.
It just looks like a lot of fun.
Watching Kashimashi it proved why certain things have happened to the line-up. Mano Erina, affectionately known (by others) as Manoeri, is now a soloist… debut single pending. I won’t lie, she annoys me a bit. She’s a bit like Koharu, I should like her in that respect, I don’t. I’m not going to go too far into why. Anyway, in Kashimashi she has a lot of close-ups, at random times too. Though she does make a couple of great faces :p.
Mutou Mika, who has recently graduated not only Ongaku Gatas but the entirety of H!P as well, gets all of one close up. She was being completely overshadowed by absolutely everyone else. No solo line? No chance! Standing on the edge dancing her heart out, looking like a younger, slightly more awkward version of Matsuura Aya. I don’t even know what she sounds like but I do wish she had more of an opportunity. Oh well, past is past. I hope her education goes well and she achieves what she wants to achieve.
For the remaining eight members I’m not gonna say as much. First of all, Yossie. I became a fan of MoMusu after Mikan so I wasn’t stalking around the fandom when Yossie was the leader, but looking back I’ve become a big fan! There was no way she was going to stay out of activity for very long, it would be a total waste. Rika was not my favourite in Biyuuden, that title goes to Okada Yui, but she is one of my favourite past MoMusu’s. Especially since I watched Ribbon no Kishi. I like Satoda Mai because of her performances/personality, though I don’t always get on with her voice. I don’t know much (*cough* anything) about the other members, I’ll work on that.
Current Line-Up
I’m still not totally sold Narihajimeta Koi no BELL but Yattarouze! is growing on me very quickly. I was going to mention the B-side earlier but I couldn’t work it into the post very well. Sakaero Habatake Gatas Brilhantes H.P. is funny. Marching band, sport, home-coming thing… doesn’t quite work for me but it’s more amusing than painful so I’m okay with that.
The end
